- The Wizard of Oz
Who doesn’t know the famous story of Dorothy, who was caught up in a cyclone and deposited in the Land of Oz? Not only did she have many adventures but she also had to unravel the mystery of the mighty Wizard.
3 to 12 years old TAZ children were performing on the big stage at the city hall Schinzenhof in Horgen. Almost 400 parents and guests enjoyed the play.

- Grade 5 + 6: Excursion to the Traffic Museum in Luzern
In February, Grade 5 and 6 visited the Transport Museum in Lucerne. They looked at trains and the Gotthard Tunnel. The children had the opportunity to experience the lives of tunnel workers in the 19th century, by travelling on the museum’s full-scale tunnel model. They also had a close-up view of the workings of a steam locomotive. While walking around on the large-scale Swiss arena map, they carried out different exercises.

- "The mitten" performed by KG 2
„The Mitten“, by Jan Brett is a wonderful Ukrainian folktale about a little boy who loses his white mitten in the snow. One by one, animals come to stay warm on the cold winter’s day by squeezing into the mitten.
The big bear’s sneeze at the end is really a surprise and great fun for the KG 2 children to play!

- Inauguration of the plaground
The new playground was our focus when starting school after the autumn break. To inaugurate the playground we organised a sack hopping competition to support "chance for children", a project for children in Ghana living on the streets. TAZ children were looking for sponsors to donate money for each completed lap.
As refreshment we offered apples and pears, Swiss bread and apple juice from a farmer in Horgen.

- 1st KG: Visit a farm
We enjoyed the visit to the farm very much. It was very exciting patting the animals, and we were very impressed by the big rooster who lives on the farm. We also bought some fresh eggs which we will use for baking.

- TAZ Sports Day
On the 18th of September we put our school books aside for one day and devoted ourselves entirely to sport.
The TAZ Horgen Sports Day took place in the Waldegg Sports Facility in Horgen. The children "travelled" in mixed age groups "around the world" participating in challenging activities. For example jumping, throwing, running and several team games.
